OFS-Standard This version will interest you as a framer, gallery
owner or professional photographer. While OFS-Standard does not replace the
personal counselling you offer when you show your customers original mount and
frame samples, it can complement this process in an ideal way.
The
program’s main advantages come to bear if your customers are professional
artists and photographers, ambitious amateurs, collectors, museums, advertising
agencies, etc. That is to say, your customers are people with a basic knowledge
of pictures, mounts and frames. For these customers, OFS-Standard will be
invaluable because they can profit from the program’s easy-to-use design
environment, using it at their leisure to plan and cost-calculate mounts and
frames for individual pictures or even whole exhibitions. The
benefit for you is that you save an enormous amount of counselling time and
receive error-free orders. These advantages also come to bear if you cut your
mounts by hand. If you use a computerised mat cutter (CMC), OFS-Standard will
allow you to transfer the customer’s framing data directly to your machine.
This saves time and eliminates one source of error. If
you run several shops that carry the same merchandise at the same prices, your
customer can choose the branch at which to pick up his order. If one of your
branches sells different merchandise, you will require a second OFS-Standard. For
